For complete transparency in terms of sustainability, we have brought environmental experts on board to test and certify our packaging materials. When ordering, you can simply print the corresponding seals on your eco-friendly packaging. In this way, they provide your customers with easy orientation when making their purchasing decisions. Good for the environment and your brand!
The recyclability of our packaging made of mono-plastic is checked by the recycling service provider Interzero and certified with the "Made for Recycling" seal.
The raw materials for our paper-based packaging, on the other hand, are sourced exclusively from forest regions certified by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) organisation for sustainable forestry.
Last but not least: our "Biobased Ben" material consists of renewable raw materials. Such materials are tested and certified by the renowned TÜV Austria, which awards the "OK biobased" seal.

Which packaging material is suitable for sweets?
From sweets and chewing gum to popcorn and cookies, Veloxglobaltrade offers a wide range of packaging materials that are suitable for your confectionery.
Metallised Martha with a metallic look (made from mono-plastic and certified with the Made for Recycling label)
Transparent Toni with customisable transparent viewing windows (made from mono-plastic and certified with the Made for Recycling label)
Robust Robin with a kraft paper look (FSC®-certified paper with a protective plastic inner layer)
Biobased Ben made from bio-based and renewable materials
For packaging baked goods such as cookies or cakes, however, we only recommend using our materials with the highest protective properties: Martha, Toni or Robin.
What would you recommend for packaging muesli bars and chocolate bars?
We recommend our flexible rollstock for packaging muesli bars (flapjacks) and chocolate bars. This allows you to create flowpacks and stick packs with your own packaging machine. All of our materials are suited for this.
Is "plastic-free" always sustainable when it comes to packaging sweets?
No, plastic-free does not automatically mean that the packaging is ecofriendly. This is because not all alternative materials to plastic are environmentally friendly: jars and can packaging, for example, consume more resources during production than plastic pouch packaging. Due to the high weight, more CO2 is also emitted during transport. Moreover, the term “plastic-free” often hides bio-based plastics.

The specifications depend on the type of food – however, some legal information is generally obligatory:
