We only use carefully selected packaging materials in the production of our pouches to protect your product in the best possible and ecofriendly way.
Our ‘Metallised Martha’ material is best suited for food supplement packaging. However, for protein powder packaging you can also use the material ‘Transparent Toni’ with freely placeable viewing windows and ‘Robust Robin’ with a kraft paper look.

The list of requirements for high-quality packaging for food supplements is long. In order for your product to stand out with retail chains, you should not underestimate the sales-driving role of sustainability. With our corresponding sustainability seals, you make your environmental commitment transparently visible to your customers. With every purchase, you also support local and international sustainability organisations.
The recyclability of our packaging made of mono-plastic is checked by the recycling service provider Interseroh+ and certified with the "Made for Recycling" seal.
The raw materials for our paper-based packaging, on the other hand, are sourced exclusively from forest regions certified by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) organisation for sustainable forestry.
Last but not least: our "Biobased Ben" material consists of renewable raw materials. Such materials are tested and certified by the renowned TÜV Austria, which awards the "OK biobased" seal.

What information must be provided on the packaging of food supplements?
In addition to the designation “food supplement”, the manufacturer must provide information about other important product information on the packaging:
– Category of substances such as nutrients, vitamins, minerals, etc.
– Recommended amount to be consumed
– Note that food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced diet.
– Storage information of the product
– Possible allergens
– Best before date
Which material is best suited for food supplements?
To pack your food supplements, we recommend our material structure with the best UV and moisture protection: our metallised Martha.
You can use it to safely pack the following:

Muesli bars (as a flow pack with our roll packaging)

For protein powders, you could use our Toni or Robin materials as well.

Which material is best suited for powder supplements?
To pack your powder supplements, we recommend our material structure Toni, Martha or Robin. They all offer a high level of protection against moisture and having different benefits. Toni provides a customisable viewing window, Martha a high UV protection and Robin has a paper touch.
All of our materials are manufactured according to the BRCGS safety standard for food. This is how we ensure that your packaging is suitable for food.
How can I store the pouches?
Our pouch packaging is shipped in cardboard boxes. Unfilled, the bags can be stacked very flat on top of each other. This reduces the amount of storage required, especially compared to jars or cans, and lowers your storage costs.
